A Discussion about Events Concerning Race

health care bill

with one comment

It’s bad to say, but i really don’t follow current events.  So on that note i found out that apparently last night the health care reform bill was passed, and i feel a lot of Americans are spilt.  I am split on this situation myself.  What i have noticed is that all anti-Obama are against this bill, as well as, blame him this for passing it.  Yet, technically the president can only suggest a bill, but needs help to pass it.  Therefore should people also be mad at the house or the senate for passing the bill?  It wasn’t all Obama.  I don’t agree with this bill completely, but I can’t blame one person for it going into effect.  We the people voted for those in the house, senate, as well as our president.

  1. I agree with you, congress and the house of representatives are also responsible for passing the healthcare plan. I feel people blame Obama solely because they do not like him or the idea of him being in office. As you said we the people voted for our political figures and if blame is thrown it should be thrown at all parties involved.
