A Discussion about Events Concerning Race

Customers’ Angry Comments

While I was at work yesterday, a customer came in and he was very upset with the fact that he didn’t have to sign his name in the electronic payment system.  I told him that if his total was under a $50.00 value that he would not have to sign. He got upset and said that he blames stupid politicians and thier stupid laws.  He then went on to inform me that Conneticut has a no whistling under the water law.  I was so perplexed that all I could do for a couple of seconds was stare at him.  I was trying to figure out how in the world a law could be passed forbidding whistling under the water.  The customer told me that it’s all about who has the money.  A man owned a lake that he allowed kids to swim in.  However, the catfish in his lake stopped reproducing.  The man asked the kids what they were doing in the water and the kids replied that they had been whistling under the water. According to the customer, the owner of the lake paid a politician to pass the law that whistling under water is illegal. How bizarre is this?
