“Are minorities being shortchanged by the stimulus?”

with one comment,8599,1940338,00.html

This article points out that the stimulus plan of $787 billion, proposed by the Obama administration, is not reaching out to the poor and minority communities as they should be. Instead of helping out minority communities that have found themselves cut off, these funds are used more for the construction of highways and airports. I think the Obama administration should defintiely readjust their priorities to helping out the minorities more since economic disaster is most prominent within these groups.

  1. I agree that the money used for highways and constructions needs to be reevaluated and used for things that will change the environment in poor neighbors and those people living in poverty. I constantly see construction sites everywhere and wonder of what the use of it all is.
