Rush limbaugh has been critized lately for his interest in buying the ST. Louis Rams.around the league a buzz is growing that players nor owners would feel comfortable with him in that position of power. This is probably the best decision. Limbaugh is a racist and considerding that the nfl consist mostly of minorities, it clear he should not be allowed to own a team in the league…no matter how rich he is

  1. This is interesting because I too feel that Limbaugh is racist. I was so surprised to see a show on FOX news of black men blaming Obama and others for the bad things or the bad way the Limbaugh is viewed. Obama or any of his supporters don’t control how racist Limbaugh is, or the racist comments and attacks that he makes. The last thing he should be allowed to do is have control of a football team. Pretty soon he’ll be saying those racial remarks about coaches and owners in the NFL.

  2. I have to disagree with this argument. Whether Limbaugh is racist or not should have no weight when it comes to him making a purely business related decision. Suggesting that he would use his power over a football team which includes minorities to further spread his racist ideals is ridiculous. Because he is in the position where he can voice his opinions openly doesn’t imply that he is the only one holding these opinions.
Football is about the sport, not race. Black people don’t watch football because black people are playing on the team, they watch it for the entertainment. And I’m sure Limbaugh is interested in buying the Rams because he is a fan of the team and of the sport, not because of a racist agenda. Limbaugh has every right to put stock into this team if agreed upon by both sides. If anyone has any say as to whether or not he would be able to purchase the team, it would be the team itself, and the team only.
