A Discussion about Events Concerning Race

Interracial Couples…Right Or Wrong?

with one comment

So I was Googling interracial couples and came to this website ( Truthfully, I really upset and appalled from the false information they have on this website. I may be bias because I’m in a interracial relationship but I’m 99% sure that the information is not accurate. For example, the website statistics shows that “Black males are 20 times more likely to be bi-sexual than are White males. They are also many times more likely to be users of intravenous drugs than are Whites. The obvious implication here is that the White female who chooses a non-White mate drastically increases her chances of exposure to the dread HIV-AIDS plague and the hideous death that inevitably follows.”………WHAT????? It surprises me that when they speak of interracial couples, they only see interracial couples being Caucasian and African American. This information is absurd and then to bring the bible in this made me even more angry. If the person who made this website really knew what the bible mean by not having interracial couples, he/she or they would have known that yes the Old Testament Law commanded the Israelites not to engage in “interracial marriage”. However, the reason for this was not primarily racial in nature but it was dealing with religion. The reason God commanded against interracial marriage was that people of other races were idolaters and worshipers of false gods. Also,Just as the Israelites were commanded not to marry idolaters, so Christians are commanded not to marry unbelievers. Therefore the bible says nothing about inter”racial” couples.

What do you think about interracial dating or marriage?

  1. I agree with you that this website seems biased in all the wrong ways. It sounds to me that they are more against interracial couples because of their own personal view points, and trying to twist information to work in their favor. Sadly I think this happens more frequently then it should.
