A Discussion about Events Concerning Race

Neo-Nazi Bomb Plot

with 2 comments

Neil Lewington a Neo-Nazi was planning on using tennis balls as shrapnel bombs to throw at an Asian household. Luckily he was caught on a train with two firebombs and afterwards police investigated his bedroom, which he had turned into a bomb factory full of explosives. His motivation for all this was to be a notorious race hate bomber and looked up to prior bombers David Copeland and Timothy McVeigh. I’m surprised at how anyone would devise a way to kill a family in a gruesome thought-out manner just because of what race they are.

  1. This article seems shocking and extremely sad. I agree with you on how surprising the extent to which people will go to prove their point or make a statement.

  2. I find this article interesting and strange in that Lewington’s justification for his planned actions seem to have nothing to do with his beliefs or convictions but rather the status he would receive among people that would approve of his actions, however extreme.
